I remember chenille bedspreads, and they were much nicer way back when.

ETA: Ironically enough, I do have one new spread that I received as a gift. It's super fluffy and soft and came from K-Mart, of all places. It sheds like it's going out of style, though. [img]eek.gif[/img]
